The Nasarawa State Project Coordinator of the Nigeria Erosion and Watershed Management Project under the European Investment Bank (NEWMAP-EIB), Dr. Mohammed Ismail, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Barr. Isaac Danladi on his redeployment as Commissioner for Justice and Attorney General of Nasarawa State.
Barr. Danladi was recently moved from the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources to the Ministry of Justice.
During a courtesy visit, Dr. Mohammed Ismail commended the Attorney General for his instrumental role in supporting the objectives of NEWMAP-EIB, particularly during his tenure at the Ministry of Environment.
He noted that Barr. Danladi’s legal expertise and commitment to environmental justice greatly enhanced the project’s implementation, helping to overcome institutional and legal barriers.
Dr. Ismail also praised His Excellency, Engineer Abdullahi A. Sule, the Executive Governor of Nasarawa State, for his strategic redeployment of competent individuals to key ministries.
He stated that the governor's foresight in assigning Barr. Danladi to the Justice Ministry speaks to his deep understanding of governance and dedication to efficient service delivery.
Responding, the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Barr. Isaac Danladi, expressed his appreciation to Dr. Mohammed Ismail and the NEWMAP-EIB team for the visit.
He acknowledged the project's vital contributions to addressing environmental challenges in the state and reaffirmed the Ministry of Justice’s readiness to provide the necessary legal support to ensure the continued success of such interventions.
