The Member representing Nasarawa Central Constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Hon. Dr. Hajarat Danyaro Ibrahim, has restated her unwavering commitment to delivering more democratic dividends to the people of her constituency.
The lawmaker, who remains the only female voice in the Nasarawa State Assembly, made this known during her visit to victims of a recent windstorm in Marmara and Shamange communities under the Laminga Electoral Ward. The natural disaster, which ravaged several homes and properties worth millions of naira, left many residents in distress.
During her visit, Dr. Danyaro made personal donations to affected families and assured them of swift government intervention, revealing that she had already brought the incident to the attention of Governor Abdullahi Sule for prompt action.
“As your representative, I feel your pain and stand with you in this trying time. I’ve informed His Excellency, and I’m optimistic that help will reach you soon,” she stated.
In a separate development, the lawmaker hosted various groups on solidarity visits at her residence in Nasarawa over the weekend. Notable among them were members of the Police Officers Wives Association (POWA), who came to express appreciation for her impactful representation and urged her to remain steadfast in her service to the people.
Hon. Dr. Danyaro also undertook condolence visits to bereaved families within her constituency, extending her heartfelt sympathy and prayers.
Throughout her stay in the constituency, she engaged in meaningful interactions with constituents to understand their pressing needs and seek sustainable solutions, further reinforcing her people-first approach to governance.
