The Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice of Nasarawa State, Barr. Isaac Danladi, has met with the President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Mazi Afam Osigwe, SAN, and Chairman of the Planning Committee, Paul Ogbole, SAN, ahead of the 2025 NBA Section on Legal Practice (NBA–SLP) Conference.
The strategic meeting focused on collaboration and preparations toward the upcoming conference themed "Uncommon Challenges in a Rapidly Changing Legal Environment," scheduled to hold in Jos, Plateau State, from April 24 to 27, 2025.
Barr. Danladi commended the NBA leadership for its forward-thinking vision and pledged Nasarawa State’s collaboration in ensuring the success of the national legal event.
He emphasized the importance of such platforms in strengthening the legal profession and fostering dialogue on emerging legal issues.
NBA President, Mazi Afam Osigwe, SAN, expressed appreciation for the Attorney General’s proactive engagement and highlighted the significance of inter-governmental support in advancing the goals of the legal community.
On his part, Paul Ogbole, SAN, Chairman of the Planning Committee, called on legal professionals across the country to register and participate actively in the conference.
He assured that the 2025 NBA–SLP conference will be impactful, with robust sessions tailored to address the evolving dynamics of legal practice in Nigeria.
The meeting underscores Nasarawa State’s growing presence in national legal affairs and its commitment to excellence in justice administration.
