The Chairperson of Nasarawa State Amazon Football Club, Hajiya Husaina Suleiman Nagogo, has paid a congratulatory visit to the Nasarawa State Commissioner for Environment and Natural Resources, Hon. Isaac Danladi, at his office along Jos Road, Lafia.
During the visit, Hajiya Nagogo, who also serves as the Vice Chairperson of the Nigeria Women Football League Board, described Hon. Danladi as a leader of integrity and a man of honor. She commended Governor Abdullahi Sule for appointing him as Commissioner, expressing confidence in his ability to excel in his new role.
She assured the commissioner of her commitment to collaborating with the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources to promote football, particularly female football, in the state. Hajiya Nagogo noted that many had initially expected Hon. Danladi’s posting to the Ministry of Youth and Sports Development but praised Governor Sule’s decision, emphasizing that the governor recognized his competence and leadership capabilities.
He reassured Hajiya Nagogo of his continued support for sports, particularly female football, in Nasarawa State.
Acknowledging the vital role of women’s football in youth empowerment and talent development, the commissioner pledged to support the Nasarawa Amazons and facilitate collaborations for the growth of the sport in the state.
Hon. Danladi reaffirmed his willingness to work with stakeholders to promote sports despite his primary responsibilities in the environment sector.
