The Chairman, House Committee on Public Accounts at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Hon. Solomon Yakubu Akwashiki, has paid a congratulatory visit to the newly redeployed Commissioner for Justice and Attorney General of Nasarawa State, Hon. Barr. Isaac Danladi.
The visit, which took place at the State Ministry of Justice headquarters in Lafia, was aimed at formally congratulating Hon. Danladi on his new portfolio and to strengthen legislative-executive synergy.
Hon. Akwashiki described Danladi’s redeployment from the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources to the Ministry of Justice as a timely and strategic decision by Governor Abdullahi Sule, noting that the Attorney General's legal expertise and administrative competence will add tremendous value to the justice sector.
“Your redeployment is not only well-deserved but also timely. With your legal background, integrity, and deep understanding of governance, we are confident that the Ministry of Justice will witness transformative reforms under your leadership,” Akwashiki stated.
In his response, the new Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Hon. Barr. Isaac Danladi, expressed appreciation for the visit and thanked the lawmaker for his kind words and show of support.
He pledged to work collaboratively with the State Assembly and other stakeholders to uphold justice, rule of law, and legal reforms in Nasarawa State.
