The Nasarawa State Sector Commandant of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), C.O. Asom, has reaffirmed the Corps' commitment to partnering with the state government in maintaining peace, cleanliness, and safety on the roads.
He made this known during a visit to the State Commissioner for Environment and Natural Resources, Hon. Isaac Danladi.
Commending the commissioner’s leadership, Asom described him as a God-sent leader with a track record of inclusivity and dedication to public service.
He emphasized that the FRSC is ready to collaborate with the ministry, particularly in environmental sanitation initiatives, to ensure a cleaner and safer state.
He further lauded the commissioner for his open-door policy and commitment to serving all citizens regardless of tribe or background.
"We have come to partner with you because your leadership aligns with our vision for a peaceful and orderly society," Asom stated.
In response, Hon. Isaac Danladi expressed appreciation for the FRSC’s continuous support in ensuring road safety and environmental sustainability in the state.
He acknowledged the Corps' role in saving lives and protecting property through collaborations with other security agencies.
Danladi also commended the FRSC for its active participation in the recent statewide sanitation exercise, noting that their involvement contributed significantly to its success.
He assured that the partnership between the ministry and the FRSC would be strengthened, as efforts are underway to revamp and enhance the effectiveness of the monthly environmental sanitation exercise.
"As a ministry, we are planning to make the monthly sanitation more effective and efficient. Your participation has been instrumental, and we look forward to deepening this collaboration," Danladi stated.
The meeting reaffirmed the synergy between the FRSC and the state government in promoting safety, cleanliness, and public well-being across Nasarawa State.
