Former Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development in Nasarawa State, Hajiya Halima Jabiru, has described death as an inevitable end that awaits all living beings, urging Nigerians to live righteously and always return to God in moments of joy and grief.

Hajiya Jabiru made the remark when she paid a condolence visit to Dr. Hon. Aliyu Bello, the State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nasarawa State, over the painful loss of his beloved son, Bello A. Bello, who passed away a few weeks ago.

Speaking during the visit, the former commissioner expressed her heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved family, acknowledging the depth of their grief while encouraging them to take solace in the will of the Almighty.

She emphasized that although death is painful, it remains a divine decree that no one can escape.

“Death is inevitable. It is a path every soul must pass through, and in times like this, the only true comfort comes from turning to God. I pray that the Almighty grants the soul of the late Bello A. Bello eternal rest and gives the family the strength to bear this irreplaceable loss,” she stated.

Hajiya Jabiru also offered prayers for the family, seeking God’s continued protection, guidance, and peace in their lives.

In his response, Dr. Hon. Aliyu Bello expressed profound gratitude to Hajiya Halima Jabiru for her show of compassion and solidarity. He described the visit as a great source of comfort to his family during this trying time.

He further noted that the outpouring of support from friends, political associates, and well-wishers across the state has been deeply reassuring, reaffirming his belief in the enduring spirit of humanity and unity in times of sorrow.

The visit was part of a series of condolence engagements by concerned individuals and groups aimed at identifying with the Bello family in their moment of grief.
