The Nasarawa State Commissioner for Environment and Natural Resources, Hon. Isaac Danladi, received his childhood friends and secondary school mate on a congratulatory visit at his office in Lafia.
The visitors, Josiah Ahmadu, who attended Command Secondary School Jos with the commissioner, and Adamu Deshi, his childhood friend, expressed their joy over his appointment by Governor Abdullahi Sule.
They stated that they were in Lafia for a basketball competition and saw it as an opportunity to personally extend their heartfelt congratulations.
During the visit, both Ahmadu and Deshi encouraged Hon. Danladi to serve as a worthy ambassador in his new role.
They described him as a man of integrity and dedication, expressing confidence in his ability to bring positive change to the state's environmental sector.
In his response, the commissioner appreciated their visit and assured them of his commitment to upholding their trust.
He acknowledged the significance of their longstanding friendship and emphasized how such bonds play a crucial role in leadership and personal development.
