The Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice of Nasarawa State, Barr. Isaac Danladi, has received Mr. Joshua Uban Esu, Program Manager of the Public and Private Development Centre (PPDC), during a courtesy visit at his office in Lafia.
The visit was aimed at congratulating Barr. Danladi on his recent appointment as the head of the Ministry of Justice. During the meeting, Mr. Esu highlighted the work of PPDC, a non-governmental organization dedicated to enhancing the administration of criminal justice in Nasarawa State.
He further noted that the organization is currently implementing two key initiatives in the state: the Court Administration and Case Management Project and the Reforming Pretrial Detention in Nigeria II Project both designed to promote efficiency in the judiciary and address the challenges of prolonged pretrial detention.
In his response, Barr. Isaac Danladi expressed appreciation for the visit and the support extended by PPDC.
He assured the organization of his readiness to work closely with NGOs and other stakeholders to strengthen the justice sector and deliver impactful reforms for the benefit of the people of Nasarawa State.
