Chief Paul O. Uche, chieftain of the All Progressives Congress from the southeast, has tasked APC members in Abia state on unity ahead of the 2027 elections in the country.
Uche, stated that APC needed manpower to secure majority seats in the national and state houses of assembly in the forthcoming election in Abia, reminding members that it can be achieved if they eschew politics of bitterness and go into the polls as a united family.
He stated this on Friday following ongoing peace moves by the national leadership of the party in Abia state.
Uche lauded the unwavering commitments of Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, the APC National welfare secretary, Hon Donatus Nwankpa and other notable leaders to the rebuilding of the party in Abia for future electoral success.
The prominent Abia stalwart urged members to forgive one another to achieve the task of total victory for the party across the seventeen local government areas of the state.
While confiding that the progressive party will emerge victorious come 2027 elections in Abia and other states of the southeast zone, Chief Uche, cited the giant strides recorded by the APC-led federal government in Nigeria, most especially in the improvement of economy and development of critical infrastructure across the federation as walkover for APC in the forthcoming election in the zones.
"We must eschew bitterness and embrace one another in order to secure winning for APC in Abia state. Let's make this party stronger and better.
