The Authorities of a Army training institute, Depot Nigerian Army Zaria have advised Local Communities of Basawa in Sabon Gari Local Government area of Kaduna State to stay away from shooting range area not panic upon hearing sounds of live ammunitions as the Institute 88th Regular Recruits' 2nd Leg Commences from today 24 to Friday 27 at Nigerian Army Area at Basawa Village.
This is contained in a statement by the formation spokesman, Major Everest Ochienta that was made available to Journalists in Zaria which read party"The Exercise will involve firing of live ammunitions using small arms.
"Depot Nigerian Army has put in place safety measures and precautions to ensure a safe and hitch free exercise.
"However, residents of the affected communities are advised to stay away from the range general throughout the period of the exercise.
The statement urged the residents not panic on seeing large movement of troops and hearing sounds of small arms as it was a routine exercise for Recruits on training in the Institute.
