In a significant development for environmental sustainability in Nasarawa State, the government has approved an office accommodation for the Nigeria Erosion and Watershed Management Project (NEWMAP) – European Investment Bank (EIB) initiative.
This achievement follows the efforts of Hon. Barrister Isaac Danladi, Commissioner for Environment and Natural Resources, through the State Head of Service, Barrister Abigail Waya.
Their role in securing the necessary approvals from Governor Abdullahi Sule has been commended.
Additionally, recognition has been extended to Project Coordinator Muhammad Ismaila, PhD, for his dedication and commitment to the initiative.
This milestone is expected to enhance the implementation of environmental projects aimed at mitigating erosion and promoting sustainable land management across Nasarawa State.
