Nasarawa Environment Ministry Celebrates Garba Rosha Mohammed’s Legacy at Retirement Ceremony

The Nasarawa State Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources has honored its retiring Permanent Secretary, Garba Rosha Mohammed, in a heartfelt farewell ceremony celebrating his years of dedicated service.

Speaking at the event, the Commissioner for Environment and Natural Resources, Hon. Isaac Danladi, highlighted the importance of loyalty and commitment in public service, commending Mohammed’s remarkable contributions to the ministry.

"In any journey, whatever has a beginning surely has an end," Hon. Danladi remarked. 

He urged civil servants to uphold professionalism and integrity, assuring them that loyalty and dedication are always rewarded.

An emotional Mohammed reflected on his career, expressing gratitude to God and Governor Abdullahi Sule for the opportunity to serve. 

He praised the teamwork and support he received from colleagues and urged them to extend the same to his successor.

The ceremony featured glowing tributes from ministry staff, associates, and well-wishers, who described Mohammed as a mentor and a pillar of stability in the ministry. 

Hajiya Laurat Jibrin, an administrative officer, acknowledged his leadership and impact on the growth of the ministry.

As he bows out of service, Garba Rosha Mohammed leaves behind a legacy of excellence, professionalism, and unwavering dedication to Nasarawa State’s civil service.
