The Honorable Commissioner for Environment and Natural Resources, Hon. Isaac Danladi, has called on youths in Karu to actively participate in politics, emphasizing that politics transcends religion and tribalism.
Addressing members of the Karu Youth Association at his residence, he urged them to support the All Progressives Congress (APC) government, highlighting that such support ensures development benefits for their communities.
Hon. Danladi reassured the youths that their involvement in politics would create opportunities, citing examples of young individuals who have risen to positions such as legislators, commissioners, and security officials.
He noted that the government recognizes and rewards loyalty, cautioning that those who remain disengaged may miss out on critical opportunities and amenities.
He also expressed gratitude for the youths’ visit following his recent appointment, pledging to uphold their trust and work towards their collective progress.
He extended appreciation to, Governor Abdullahi Sule for his leadership and support, affirming his commitment to making his constituents proud.
On environmental concerns, Hon. Danladi outlined government efforts to combat climate change through afforestation and green initiatives.
He disclosed ongoing discussions with private sector partners to implement sustainable environmental projects that would provide employment and economic opportunities, particularly for women and youths.
Earlier, the President of Karu Youth Association, Ayenajei Mami, reiterated the association’s commitment to working with the Commissioner and supporting government policies aimed at fostering community development.
He commended Hon. Danladi for his dedication to youth empowerment and environmental sustainability, assuring him of the association’s cooperation in advancing initiatives that will benefit the people of Karu.
