The Nasarawa State Commissioner for Environment and Natural Resources, Hon. Isaac Danladi, has called on youth organizations to collaborate with the ministry in promoting environmental sanitation and mitigating climate change.

He made this appeal while receiving a delegation from Jersey Connect, led by its CEO, Mohammed Mohammed Aliyu, on a congratulatory visit to his office in Lafia.
Expressing gratitude for the visit, Hon. Danladi acknowledged the group's commitment to youth development and environmental awareness.

He emphasized the importance of youth participation in combating climate change, stating that the impact of global warming is evident and requires collective action.
"As able-bodied youths, your role in environmental sustainability is crucial. Cleanliness is next to godliness, and through collaborative efforts, we can maintain a healthier and cleaner environment.

The ministry conducts monthly sanitation exercises, but I intend to revitalize and strengthen these efforts with your support," he said.

Danladi recalled his previous engagements with youth organizations during his tenure in the youth and sports sector, stressing that their continued engagement demonstrates a shared vision for societal progress.
Earlier, Mohammed Mohammed Aliyu, CEO of Jersey Connect, highlighted Hon. Danladi’s invaluable contributions to youth empowerment in Nasarawa State.

He described the commissioner as a key patron of the association  and sought a partnership with the ministry to address youth-related social issues.

The visit reaffirmed the commitment of both parties to fostering a cleaner environment and empowering youths through strategic collaborations.
