Hon. Commissioner for Environment and Natural Resources, Isaac Danladi, has expressed profound gratitude to Smile Football Club for recognizing his contributions to sports, particularly football, through a special award.
Speaking in his office during a courtesy visit led by Coach A.U. Rengo and the team’s management, Danladi described the award as a deeply treasured honor, given its significance coming from his immediate sports constituency.
"Since assuming office three weeks ago, I have received various tokens of appreciation, but this particular recognition is one I will cherish for a very long time. It reassures me that my contributions to sports, especially football, remain valuable," he stated.
Danladi acknowledged the strong bond he shares with the sports community, recalling his tenure as Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
He pledged not to take the recognition for granted and assured continued support for the integrity and growth of football in the state.
