The Nasarawa State Commissioner for Environment and Natural Resources, Hon. Isaac Danladi, has charged the newly posted Permanent Secretary of the ministry, Baba Yayi, to carry out his responsibilities with commitment, dedication, and the fear of God.
Speaking during a formal handover ceremony from the outgoing acting Permanent Secretary, Mr. Thomas Bashayi, to Baba Yayi,
Hon. Danladi emphasized the importance of aligning with Governor Abdullahi Sule’s administration’s mantra of ensuring a safe and sustainable environment for all.
"I know you as a dedicated civil servant, and I urge you to exhibit the same level of dedication here to complement the administration’s vision of environmental sustainability," Danladi stated.
The commissioner also called on the ministry’s staff to extend their full support and cooperation to the new Permanent Secretary, ensuring the ministry’s continued success.
In his remarks, the outgoing acting Permanent Secretary, Mr. Thomas Bashayi, assured Baba Yayi of the staff’s commitment and support in carrying out his duties.
Assuming his new role, Baba Yayi solicited the cooperation of all staff to move the ministry forward.
He urged them to remain dedicated to their responsibilities for the overall progress of the ministry.
