Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has dismissed recent rumors suggesting he has already anointed a successor for the post-2027 tenure.
During a press briefing held at the NUJ Press Center along Makurdi Road in Lafia, his Special Adviser on Public Affairs, Hon. Peter Ahemba, clarified that no such decision has been made.
Addressing the gathered journalists, Gov. Sule urged citizens to disregard any misinformation regarding the succession.
"We still have almost two years in office to provide service to our people; issues of succession should not distract us," he stated.
The governor emphasized that the focus remains on current governance and the delivery of essential services to the people of Nasarawa State.
