A press statement issued by Abubakar Suleiman, a copy of which was made available to Rimawa Global News in Lafia, the capital city of Nasarawa State, commended His Excellency, Governor Abdullahi Sule, for nominating Hon. Aminu Mua'zu Maifata, the immediate past National President of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), as a member of the Nasarawa State Executive Council.
Abubakar Suleiman described the nomination of Hon. Maifata as a wise and strategic decision that reflects Governor Sule’s commitment to inclusive governance and the delivery of quality service to the people of Nasarawa State.
According to the statement, Hon. Maifata's vast experience in grassroots governance, having served diligently as the National President of ALGON, will greatly enhance the performance of the state executive council.
His wealth of experience, dedication, and deep understanding of governance issues at both local and national levels will be a valuable asset to the government.
"Hon. Aminu Mua'zu Maifata is a man of proven integrity, competence, and dedication.
His nomination is a testament to Governor Sule’s desire to bring on board individuals with the capacity to contribute meaningfully to the progress and development of Nasarawa State," Suleiman stated.
He further called on the Nasarawa State House of Assembly to expedite the confirmation process, expressing confidence that Hon. Maifata will justify the trust reposed in him by Governor Sule and the good people of the state.
The statement concluded by urging all stakeholders to support the administration of Governor Sule as it continues to strive toward the overall development and prosperity of Nasarawa State.
