Your Excellency,
I bring you warm greetings as a proud son of Essien Udim, one of the many young graduates who look up to you as a father, leader, and the beacon of hope for our people. With deep respect and utmost sincerity, I write to express the frustrations and struggles we, the graduates of AKWA IBOM STATE & we as AKWA IBOM STATE NYSC ELITE FORUM come together just to built a a suitable forum that will help ours overcome and refuse unemployment rate that we are facing in our search for gainful employment.
It is no secret that our beloved STATE has produced some of the most brilliant minds in various fields—young men and women who are ready to contribute meaningfully to the growth of our dear nation. However, despite our academic qualifications and relentless efforts, many of us remain unemployed, wandering from office to office, seeking opportunities that seem out of reach.
Your Excellency, during your time as Governor of Akwa Ibom State, you transformed the state with your vision of uncommon transformation. You empowered thousands, built infrastructures, and set a high standard for leadership. Today, as the President of the Senate, you continue to champion the cause of the people, and we are confident that you can extend this same influence to address the growing unemployment crisis among graduates from AKWA IBOM STATE .
I was recently at the National Directorate of Employment (NDE) office at the Federal Secretariat, where I was told that being from AKWA IBOM STATE , the home of the Senate President, I should forward my name to you, and I would be considered for immediate employment in any Ministry. This statement alone speaks volumes about the power and influence you wield in ensuring employment opportunities for your people.
Sir, we are not asking for favors, but for the opportunity to serve, to contribute, and to justify the investment our families and society have made in our education. We believe that with your influence, more employment slots can be secured for qualified graduates from AKWA IBOM STATE across ministriesagencies, and parastatals.
We remain hopeful that you will hear our plea and intervene, as you have always done for the good of our people.
