Nurut Tilawah students visit Muslim World League, Saudi scholars for intellectual exposure

As part of its academic tour to important sites and organizations in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, students of Nurut Tilawah International School, Zaria has visited the Headquarters of Muslim World League to avail themselves on activities carried out by the reknowned Islamic organization.


Muslim World League is an international Non-governmental organization with headquarters in Makkah.Its  members were drawn from all Islamic countries and sects with a 
goal of clarifying the true message of Islam and promoting friendship among member nations.

The organization also provide humanitarian aid, extend bridges of dialogue and cooperation with all, engage in positive openness to all cultures and civilizations, follow the path of centrism and moderation to realize the message of Islam and ward off movements calling for extremism, violence and exclusion for a world full of peace, justice and coexistence.

Receiving the Nurut Tilawah students at the Headquarters of the League, the Deputy Secretary General of the Muslim organization,.Dr. Abdurrahman Bn Abdullah Zaid while appreciating the visit, 
expressed delight and commended the management for exposing the students.

He said the students tour will augment fast learning and inculcate a sense of retention while improving intellectualism among students.

Dr. Zaid who was in company of other Directors and Staff of the Muslim World League interacted with the students freely and answered questions from them on issues concerning the organization.

Some students recited verses from the Holy Qur'an after being treated with an auspicious reception.

Similarly, the Zaria school students along with their teachers led by the Director of the school, Sheikh Nuruddeen Umar Tahir also visited the management of the Halaqaat where they were humbly received and treated well.


Receiving the delegation, Fadhilatush Sheikh Ghaziy Azzubyaniy, one of the Directors of the Halaqaat expressed delight for the visit and pledged commitment to continue to assist the Nigerian school with everything at his disposal to improve it's standard.

He appreciated their efforts of the school management and encouraged students to strive higher in their pursuit to acquiring sound and quality knowledge of the Holy Qur'an.

Azzubyaniy enjoined them to always practicalize the good teaching of the Holy book in their daily life after memorization and enjoined them to learn the different format of Qur'anic recitation.

The Sheikh welcomed the delegation from Nurut Tilawah International School, Zaria along with some distinguished learned scholars from the Prophet mosque.

They included Fadhilatush Sheikh Hashim Assaqqafiy, Fadhilatush Sheikh Yasir Alhumrany and other high profile scholars from the Masjid al Haram to honour the Nigerian students.

Sheikh Nuruddeen Umar Tahir, Director, Nurut Tilawah International school, Zaria while appreciating the honour, thanks the revered scholars for given them the opportunity to interact and expose the students to such noble places and prayed that the relationship will continue.

The Director recalled that such honour has continued to be extended to the school anytime they were in Saudi Arabia.

Sheikh Tahir stressed that the gesture exposes the students and stimulate them in their quest to acquiring Qur'anic and religious knowledge.

Highlights of the visit includes conducted Umrah and visitations to various recreational and academic places while visiting historical sites as captured in the Holy book.
