NSUK Hosts Alumnus, Ambassador Yakubu Musa, on Strategic Visit

Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), on Thursday, February 6, 2025, warmly welcomed its distinguished alumnus, Ambassador Yakubu Musa, during a courtesy visit to the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sa'adatu Hassan Liman.

Ambassador Musa, currently serving as Protocol Liaison Officer to His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, engaged the university leadership in discussions focused on contributing to the development and progress of his alma mater.

Professor Sa'adatu Hassan Liman, the first female Vice-Chancellor of NSUK, commended Ambassador Musa for his dedication and willingness to support the institution. She emphasized the importance of maintaining strong relationships with alumni to leverage their expertise for the university’s growth and innovation.

Joining the Vice-Chancellor to receive the special guest were Professor Abdullahi Sallau Modiboo, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), Professor Theophilus Daniel Lagi, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration), Dr. Bala Isyaka Ahmed II, Registrar, and Mallam Muhammad D. Nasir, Special Adviser to the Vice-Chancellor.

Ambassador Yakubu Musa, a 2007 graduate of the Department of Political Science, Faculty of Social Sciences, was accompanied on the visit by his close associate, Dr. Shuaibu Umar Al-Tukud, a lecturer in the department.

This visit reinforces the university’s commitment to fostering partnerships with its alumni community to achieve shared goals and enhance institutional excellence.
