Nasarawa State Commissioner for Environment and Natural Resources, Barrister Isaac Danladi, has reaffirmed his commitment to reforming the ministry for enhanced productivity and efficient service delivery.
Barrister Danladi made this known during an inspection visit and interactive meeting with the staff and management of the ministry on Wednesday.
Determined to hit the ground running, the commissioner has spent his first week in office assessing various departments and units, familiarizing himself with workplace conditions and challenges.
His proactive engagement underscores his vision for a more inclusive and results-driven ministry.
While emphasizing the importance of staff welfare and entitlements, Barrister Danladi assured workers that their contributions would be duly recognized and rewarded.
He maintained that a motivated workforce is key to achieving the ministry’s objectives.
Expressing concern over the state of hygiene within the ministry, the commissioner called for a renewed sense of responsibility among staff, urging them to champion cleanliness and environmental consciousness both within and beyond their offices.
“In any system, much is expected from those entrusted with responsibilities. We must all be committed to ensuring a cleaner and more efficient working environment,” he stated.
During an interactive session, staff and management pledged their support for the commissioner’s reform agenda, recognizing the importance of teamwork in driving the ministry’s mandate forward.
