At least four people have reportedly been killed in Rimin Auzinawa, Ungogo Local Government Area of Kano State, following a violent confrontation between residents and security operatives over property demolitions.
According to witnesses, the clash erupted when security personnel moved in to enforce the demolition exercise.
The situation escalated as residents, angered by the destruction of their properties, resisted the operation. In the ensuing chaos, security operatives allegedly opened fire, resulting in the deaths.
Authorities have yet to release an official statement on the incident.
