Stakeholders of Jechira, including leaders from different political parties, religious groups, youths, and women's organizations, have expressed their unwavering support for Governor Hyacinth Alia and their commitment to helping him succeed in leading the state to greater heights.
During a solidarity rally in Tse Agberagba, the headquarters of Konshisha LGA, representatives from different political parties spoke unanimously in support of the Governor.
The stakeholders of Jechira intermediate political block, which consists of Konshisha and Vandeikya Local Government Areas of Benue State, expressed their commitment to stand behind him and help him continue the task of delivering democracy dividends to the state.
They applauded Governor Alia's developmental efforts since his election and pledged to support him through his first and second tenure.
Elder statesman, Sen. Chief Barnabas Gemade, who is also the Chairman of Benue APC Elders' Forum, highlighted the unity among the Jechira people in expressing their solidarity for the Governor.
He commended the state Assembly for their oversight functions and dispelled rumors surrounding recent issues between the executive and judiciary arms of government.
The speakers emphasized their desire for Governor Alia to follow in the footsteps of past leaders and continue to deliver good governance.
They vowed to sustain support for him in facing any detractors and obstacles that may arise during his.service tenure.
