The twin projects in Lafia, the capital city of Nasarawa State, have significantly elevated Governor Abdullahi Sule’s reputation, earning him widespread respect, support, prayers, and admiration from the people of the city, the state, and the nation at large.
These landmark projects—the construction of a state-of-the-art Secretariat Complex along Shendam Road and the development of a massive flyover and underpass—represent a multi-billion-naira investment aimed at transforming Lafia into a modern urban hub.
The flyover and underpass will not only enhance the aesthetic appeal of the city but also play a crucial role in decongesting traffic, ensuring a seamless flow of vehicles, especially for travelers moving between the northern, southern, and eastern regions of the country. By addressing one of the city's major infrastructural challenges, this project will improve transportation efficiency and boost economic activities in the state.
Meanwhile, the new Secretariat Complex will serve as a centralized, well-equipped workspace for civil servants, fostering improved productivity and efficiency in government operations. By bringing key administrative offices under one roof, the project aims to enhance coordination, reduce operational costs, and create a more conducive working environment for public sector employees.
