The Immediate Past Speaker of Nasarawa State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi has been given a part on the back for touching lives of many positively devoid of any tribal, religious or other sentiments.
The Former Speaker Balarabe Abdullahi who is the current Chairman, Governing Council of Federal Polytechnic Damaturu in Yobe State, Nigeria was described as an exceptional leader who has written his name in gold in the annals of history.
These commendation was made by many from within his constituency, the State and beyond who celebrated him as he clocks 62 years of birth today February 14th, 2025.
His leadership qualities was hailed when he served as the Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly from June 9th, 2015 to November 28th, 2023 and remains the longest serving Speaker in the history of the State Assembly as well as has the highest number of bills passed in both his 5th and the 6th Nasarawa State House of Assembly respectively.
Balarabe Abdullahi was also commended for his recent efforts in securing jobs and political appointments to many citizens even after living office aside his grand breaking records of achievements when he served as Speaker for Eight and half years in the State.
His people also acknowledged his peace and development efforts in the State and particularly in Toto LG as they identified his pragmatic stride that led to the institution of Ohinoyi Ogye in Toto LG after over a decade that the stool was left vacant aside the institution and installation of many village heads in the area.
They prayed and wished him God's protection, sound health, guidance and prosperity in the years ahead as a grassroots politician.
