Amnesty International has condemned the reported killing of four civilians by security operatives in Kano State, Nigeria.
According to reports, the incident occurred when residents protested the demolition of their homes by officials of the Kano State Urban Planning and Development Authority (KNUPDA) in Rimin Auzinawa, Ungogo Local Government Area.
The human rights organization criticized the use of lethal force, calling for an immediate investigation into the killings and urging authorities to ensure accountability and justice for the victims.
Amnesty International emphasized the need to respect human rights and protect civilians during enforcement operations.
