Hon. Dr. Aisha Jibril Dukku, Co-Sponsor of the Almajiri Commission Bill and Sarauniyar Tsangayu Da Makarantun Allon Hausa, alongside Hon. Dr. Balarabe Shehu Kakale, Lead Sponsor and Barden Tsangayun Hausa, paid a visit to former President Muhammadu Buhari at his residence in Daura, Katsina State, on February 1, 2025.
The visit was part of their ongoing efforts to advance the Almajiri Commission Bill, which aims to reform and integrate the Almajiri education system into the national framework.
Their discussion with Buhari centered on the bill's progress, challenges, and potential impact on education and social development in northern Nigeria.
