The Nigerian government has expressed surprise at former Emir Sanusi's decision to prioritize personal interests over speaking the truth about President Tinubu's economic policies.
In a statement released by the Minister of Information, Mohammed Idris, the government noted that global economic experts, including Sanusi himself, had previously endorsed Tinubu's economic strategies.
However, the statement criticized Sanusi for allegedly choosing to remain silent, claiming that his silence is motivated by personal ambitions rather than a genuine intent to support the administration.
