Governor,  Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa state has embarked on a week-long official visit to Beijing, China, in a bid to strengthen global agricultural partnerships.

The visit, which follows an invitation from LOVOL Heavy Industries Company Ltd., a leading producer of tractors and farm equipment, is part of the Governor's ongoing efforts to drive agricultural growth in the state.

LOVOL, a well-known manufacturer of rice harvesters—such as the one recently used at the state-owned rice farm in Jangwa—will play a key role in supporting the Governor’s mission.

Additionally, Governor Sule is scheduled to meet with representatives of another Chinese company constructing a cassava processing factory in Gudi, aimed at converting cassava into starch and other related products.

Nasarawa State has gained significant attention in recent years, particularly in the fields of mining and agriculture, due to the administration’s focused efforts to industrialize the state and generate wealth. Governor Sule’s visit seeks to expand the state’s global agricultural network and attract further investment.

This  was contained in a statement signed by Ibrahim Addra, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor.
