The Honourable Commissioner for Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs, and Community Development in Kwara State, Honourable Abubakar Abdullahi Bata, has extended his congratulations to the newly elected leadership of the state chapter of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON).
In a statement, the Commissioner lauded the peaceful emergence of Honourable Abubakar Abdullahi Danladi, Executive Chairman of Kaiama Local Government, as the new ALGON Chairman, alongside other leaders tasked with steering the association's affairs.
Honourable Bata reaffirmed the Ministry's commitment to collaborating with the ALGON leadership to sustain and enhance progress in local government administration across the state.
He also expressed gratitude to the Executive Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, for fostering an environment that enables the third tier of government to thrive effectively.
Honourable Bata emphasized the Ministry's readiness to build on the achievements recorded under the administration of local governments in the state, assuring the ALGON leadership of unwavering support.
