Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi A. Sule, has called for the establishment of a tantalite processing plant within the state to boost local value addition. The governor made this request during a meeting with Mr. Peter Zhu, Group Chairman of Kengyang Mining Company, at the J Hotel Tower in Shanghai.
Governor Sule emphasized the importance of processing raw materials locally instead of transporting them out of the state. Responding to the governor's appeal, Mr. Zhu assured that Kengyang Mining would set up a processing factory in Nasarawa State within the next 24 months.
