The Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule, has announced the suspension of the Chairman and Members of the Nasarawa State Teachers’ Service Commission.
In response, the Governor has established an investigative committee to probe the recruitment process of teachers by the commission.
The committee invites all affected teachers to meet with its members at the headquarters of the respective senatorial zones on the following dates:
1. Akwanga Zone: Friday, 10th January 2025, at Nasarawa State VIP Guest House, 10:00 AM.
2. Keffi Zone: Saturday, 12th January 2025, at Nasarawa State VIP Guest House, 10:00 AM.
3. Lafia Zone: Monday, 13th January 2025, at Old Presidential Lodge, Lafia, 10:00 AM.
Affected teachers are required to bring the original and photocopies of their appointment letters and evidence of posting.
In addition, individuals with useful information that can assist the committee in its investigation are encouraged to appear on the specified dates, times, and venues.
This was disclosed in a statement signed by Belinda A. Oyigbenu, Secretary to the Committee.
