Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has forwarded the names of six commissioner-nominees to the State House of Assembly for screening and confirmation as part of efforts to complete his cabinet.
The nominees were presented in a formal letter signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Hon. Umar Musa Ikhilor, addressed to the Assembly. The letter emphasized the governor's request for their consideration and confirmation, describing the individuals as Commissioner designates.
The nominees include:
1. Hon. Paul Nosayaba Ohonbamu
2. Hon. Dr. Washington Osa Osifo
3. Dr. Paddy Iyamu
4. Sir Lucky Eseigbe
5. Andrew Ijegbai
6. Barr. Marie Olabisi Idaomi
Once confirmed, the nominees will assume roles in the State Executive Council to aid governance and policy implementation.
