The Governor of Niger State, Mohammed Umar Bago, on Tuesday hosted the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, CON, along with the National Organizing Secretary,
Dr. Sulaiman Muhammad Argungu, OFR, and other members of the APC National Working Committee (NWC) at the Niger Governor’s Lodge, Abuja.
The visit was to commiserate with the people of Niger State following the tragic fuel tanker explosion at Dikko Junction, which resulted in significant loss of lives and property.
Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje conveyed the condolences of the APC leadership and sympathized with the families of the victims, emphasizing the party’s solidarity with the affected communities.
Dr. Sulaiman Muhammad Argungu also offered prayers for the deceased and commended Governor Bago’s administration for its prompt response to the tragedy.
Governor Mohammed Umar Bago expressed profound appreciation to Dr. Ganduje and the NWC members for their compassion and support.
He urged the APC leadership to use its platform to promote public awareness about the dangers of fuel tanker accidents and advocate for preventive measures to safeguard lives and property.
The visit and remarks were also acknowledged by Sani Galadima (Sani Lecturer), Special Adviser to the National Organizing Secretary, who commended the collaborative efforts aimed at addressing the challenges posed by such incidents.
