The Police Authority in Niger State has disclosed its preparedness to chase armed bandits out of the state.
This follow the incessant activities of armed bandits that are hitherto making some communities in Niger State inhabitable to locals.
Already, the Commissioner of Police in Niger State CP Ebenezer Shawulu Danmaman, has drafted men of the Special Tactical squad of the command to the prone communities mostly affected.
The ceaseless activities of armed bandits in Munya, Shiroro,Rafi and Mariga Local Government area of Niger State in the last five years have sofar displaced villagers out of their homes.
The mostly affected communities in Munya local government area include Gidanwaya,Guni and Sarkin Pawa.
Worried by the continued deadly activities and Unprecedented attacks on communities by these armed men, the Commissioner of Police Mr Ebenezer Shawulu Danmaman, told Journalists that the command has launched an offensive attacks on the armed
He explained that the command along with other security forces have taken the battle to the forests where the activities of the armed bandits is prominent to dislodge them.
Already, the total Onslaught launched against them has started yielding the needed result as the joint team of Tactical squad of the command and other security agencies have dislodged the armed bandits.
According to the Commissioner of Police, men of the Special Tactical squad of the command will continue to chase the armed men out of the hideout in the forest "until we totally dislodged them from the forest"
The Commissioner requested the Support and cooperation of the locals with relevant information on the operational activities of the armed men " for us to make their lives inhabitable for them".
However, it was gathered as a result of the incessant deadly activities of armed bandits in Gidanwaya Guni and Sarkin Pawa a thirty five years old digital artist Emphrain Adayilo Gwamna abandoned his family.
He told Journalists that he has lost his beloved ones to the gunmen that have hitherto taken over his community.
