The Senate and House of Representatives vowed to give their immense contribution to see reconstruction of Mallam Abdulkarim Juma'at Zaria which collapsed 2 years ago in order to be completed within the stipulated period of 18 Month
The Speaker House of Representatives, Abbas Tajudeen PhD, Iyan made the pronouncement at the Groundbreaking of the mosque held in Zaria on Sunday.
He explained that which was initially built in 1804 if reconstruction would the biggest mosque not in the Zazzau Emirate, Kaduna State but in the Country at large.
Dr Tajudeen although contribution Were received from well meaning Nigerian within the Emirate and beyond what it was discovered that what was in the committee pause only cover between 50% and 60% completion of the Mosque.
The Speaker therefore called meaning Nigerians to contribute more to see to actualization of the noble course
Our Correspondent reports that Speaker in company of the Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Uba Sani, The Minister of Environment, Mallam Balarabe Lawal Abbas and other top Government functionaries witnessed another Groundbreaking of 4 Tertiary Institution in Zaria that included New Federal College of Education, campus or National open University, School of legal and Legislature Studies and College of health Sciences at Kofar Galadima an outskirts of Zaria City.
