Kunav Elite Daughters (KED), a socio cultural female organization comprising clans and kindreds of Vandeikya Local Government Area of Benue State, garnered attention with a prestigious reception honoring Deacon Emmanuel Tor Yaji, President General of Kunav Development Association, KUDA.
,The event not only celebrated influential figures within the organization but also highlighted KED's official registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), cementing their presence in the community.
During the event, held in Makurdi, Benue State Capital, Dr. Dorcas Doom Akpough, CEO of D'Fudi Cuisine, delivered a moving speech on the importance of entrepreneurship and determination in achieving success.
Dr. Mrs. Dorcas Akpough, highlighted the impact of KED's mission on the community.
Citing her personal experience to motivate the socio cultural organisation, Dr. Mrs. Akpough noted that her commitment has served as an inspiration for others to follow suit, emphasizing the power of community support and hard work in creating lasting change.
On his part, Engr. Joseph Damkor was recognized by KED for his tireless efforts, with Arc. Dr. Moses Ayoosu accepting the award on his behalf.
Arc. Dr. Moses Ayoosu who spoke to the media after receiving the award described the tireless efforts of KED in empowering themselves and giving back to the community as a a great milestone.
According to him, the recognition of Engr. Joseph Damkor will serves as a testament to the organisation's dedication to creating positive change.
The grand reception brought together esteemed guests such as the acting Tor Jechira, His Royal Highness Nyiyongu Achiaku to add colour to and taste to the event.
