Governor Hyacinth Alia of Benue State in North Central Nigeria has officially unveiled the latest brand of Benue liquor, Zeva Premium Lager Beer, which he described as a toast to Benue's future.
Governor Alia said the successful launch of Zeva Premium Lager Beer was a testament to the dedication, innovation, and passion of Benue Investment and Property Company, BIPC team, who have worked tirelessly to bring the project to fruition.
Expressing his deepest gratitude to BIPC, the Governor commended the team for their unwavering commitment and highlighted their invaluable contributions to the success of the project.
He also extended his appreciation to the partners, suppliers, distributors, and all those who have played a key role in the launch of Zeva Premium Lager Beer, emphasizing the importance of their support and collaboration in the endeavor.
The Governor emphasized the significance of the new venture for the future of Benue State, noting that together, the community has the power to build a prosperous economy, create sustainable livelihoods, and ensure a brighter tomorrow for all.

Earlier, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Benue Investment and Property Company Limited, Dr. Raymond Asemakaha maintained that the momentous occasion marked a significant milestone for the organization.
"This event marked a significant milestone for the Food Basket Brewery and Benue State, signifying a renewed dedication to economic progress and empowerment".
The CEO expressed gratitude to Governor Hyacinth Alia and stakeholders for their unwavering support, underscoring their belief in BIPC's vision and the promising future of Benue State.
He said the introduction of Zeva Premium Lager Beer is expected to enhance Benue State and Nigeria's GDP by stimulating manufacturing, distribution, and retail sectors, creating numerous job opportunities, empowering farmers, and providing a sustainable market for local produce.
Amid challenges faced in revitalizing Benue Brewery, the producers of "More" lager beer, BIPC's establishment of Food Basket Brewery is seen as a strategic move towards transforming the brewing industry.
Dr. Asemakaha emphasized BIPC's dedication to uplifting the community, generating wealth, and fostering development across various sectors, aiming to build a prosperous and inclusive Benue.
Meanwhile, the unveiling of Zeva Premium Lager Beer has been hailed by citizens as consumers who tasted the Beer which has 5 percent alcoholic content praised it's quality and taste.
Voice of Nigeria Correspondent, Aloysius Umalo reports that Benue State, consumes between N850 million and N870 million worth of beer each month, and over N1 billion in December during the festive seasons, a reason the state is building a brewery to help retain cash flow and lower the prices of other brands of beer.
The brewery is expected to produce about 180,000 bottles per day, and will use locally produced raw materials for it's content.
