A devastating fire outbreak has completely destroyed the pharmacy unit of the Jega General Hospital in Kebbi State, along with all the medical supplies within the affected section.
The incident, as evidenced by photos, left the facility in ruins.
The Kebbi State Commissioner for Health, Hon. Yanusa Musa Ismail Birnin Yauri, visited the scene of the fire to assess the extent of the damage.
During his visit, the Commissioner urged hospital administrators and managers across the state to take precautionary measures when handling electrical systems, particularly during power outages.
He emphasized the importance of maintaining cleanliness and safety in all hospital facilities to prevent such occurrences in the future.
Hon. Yanusa Musa Ismail concluded by offering prayers for divine protection against similar incidents, calling on stakeholders to remain vigilant.
