The Executive Chairman of Doma Local Government Council, Hon. Jonathan Okuba Addra, has commended the Deputy Governor of Nasarawa State, Dr. Emmanuel Akabe, for launching a scholarship program aimed at supporting less-privileged students within the local government area.
Hon. Addra described the initiative as a significant step toward advancing education and human capital development in the region.
He noted that the program reflects the state government's commitment to providing financial aid to deserving students, enabling them to pursue their academic dreams without the burden of financial challenges.
"This scholarship program aligns with our council's dedication to fostering education and human capital growth," Addra stated.
"It is a clear demonstration of the state government's resolve to uplift the less privileged and leverage education as a tool for socio-economic transformation."
The program, championed by Dr. Akabe, underscores the administration's broader efforts to enhance education, healthcare, and economic empowerment across Nasarawa State.
