Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule, was today celebrated by the National Leadership of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), led by its National President, Comrade Isaiah Kemje Benjamin.
During a courtesy visit, SWAN conferred the prestigious Sports ICON Award on Governor Sule, marking the first time this award has been presented to an individual in northern Nigeria.
The recognition highlights Governor Sule's remarkable contributions and innovative strides in promoting sports development within Nasarawa State.
His efforts have positioned the state as a hub for sports excellence, earning him accolades from the national sports community.
