The ATYAP popularity know as Katap community has thanked the Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Uba Sani for his commitment for well being of People of the state, Southern Kaduna particularly Samaru Kataf area.
The member representing Zangon Kataf Constituency Government Area of the State in the House, Hon Sam Kambai dropped the hint when he led delegation of Samaru Kataf Village on Courtesy call Visit to the House's Committee Chairman on Education, Hon Mahmoud Lawal aka Bola Ige in his Office in respect of Bill of Law to establish State own Autonomous College of Agriculture in the area, on Thursday.
He explained that the State Government led by Mallam Uba Sani has done a lots in southern kaduna especially Samaru Kataf where many People orientation were executed to the area
Hon Kambai expressed his satisfaction over largest skill acquision centre provided to them by the Governor, adding "we the people of Samaru Kataf must to appreciate our amiable Governor for the gesture.
"On own part we must reciprocate the gesture by supporting Uba Sani Government because he had what we wanted in Past but couldn't get till now he when came on Board as the Governor of dear state.
"In the area of security I must say kudos to him becouse we can now move freely in our area and entire Southern without any fear of insecurity or being attack by bandits unlike before where where couldn't go to our farms for fear being attacked and we now sleep in compounds with our closed." Said the Lawmaker
Responding the Chairman of the house on Education appreciated the community for the visit and told their dream that his committee would do the needful to see that their dream come to reality
"My committee will everything possible to the actualization of your demand." He reiterated."
Hon Bola Ige charged the Community to ensure development of the proposed School when it comes to be in the near future.
Our Correspondent reports that the existing college of Agriculture in the area is a campus of the state owned Nuhu Bamalli polytechnic, Zaria which as started as farm training centre before it was taken over by the Polytechnic many years ago.
