The Executive Chairman,Toto Local Government Pharm. Ahmed Baba Yahaya has pledged an all inclusive leadership that will enhance peace, unity and speedy development in the Area.
The Chairman Toto Local Government gave the assurance while inaugurating the Deputy Chairman and Councilors of the area today Wednesday at the council's Secretariat.
While inaugurating the Deputy Chairman Atnadu Sunday Yakubu and 12 Councilors for Toto Local Government the Executive Chairman Pharm. Ahmed Baba Yahaya task them on unity and team work for effective service delivering and speedy development of the area.
He pledged to operate an open door policy and an all inclusive administration by carrying everybody along for peace, unity and growth of Toto Local Government.
Pharm. Ahmed Baba Yahaya revealed his blue print to include security, education, agriculture, youth empowerment and enhancement of revenue drive among others for the betterment of the people of the area.
The Toto Local Government boss appreciated God Almighty, Governor Abdullahi Sule and all stakeholders of the area for the success of the election and their emergence to pilot the affairs of the council.
While soliciting for prayers, support and understanding from the people of the area to enable them succeed, Pharm. Ahmed Baba Yahaya assured the people of Toto Local Government that him and his team will not fail them.
Responding on behalf of others, the Deputy Chairman Toto LG Atnadu Sunday Yakubu expressed their commitment to give the chairman all the necessary support to deliver on their mandates.
The event had in attendance the immediate past Chairman of the area Hon. Abdullahi Aliyu Tashas, politicians and community leaders among others who all spoke on how to sustain peace, unity and development of the area just as principal officers of the legislative Council were named where Abdulhameed Abdullahi Ayizimazi of Kenyehu Electoral Ward emerged as the Speaker of the legislative arm for the second term.
Similarly, the following Councillors were elected as principal officers,
Deputy Speaker Hon. Haruna Yusuf Mohammed Gwargwada ward,
Majority leader Hon. Abdullahi Maji Umar Toto ward,
Chief Whip Hon. Yusuf Sani Dausu,
Deputy Chief Whip Hon. Ubandaki Abdulgafar Shege,
Clerk of the House Mall Garba Bako.
