The Edo State Government, under the leadership of Governor Senator Monday Okpebholo, has announced the immediate suspension of all consultancy services and related providers within the State’s public service.
In a statement signed by Fred Itua, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, it was disclosed that all financial transactions and engagements with affected consultants are to be suspended forthwith.
This directive remains in effect until a Review Committee, established by the Governor, submits its findings and recommendations.
The statement further emphasized that all Accounting Officers and Heads of Ministries, Departments, and Agencies must ensure full compliance with this directive.
