Islamic Cleric Urges Peaceful Local Government Elections as Leaders Join Community for Juma'at Prayers in Umaisha

An Islamic Cleric Mallam Yusuf Idris has called for peaceful and successful conduct of Local Government election in Nasarawa State tomorrow Saturday. 

Mallam Yusuf Idris who is the Deputy Chief Imam of Umaisha made the call during his Friday sermon at Umaisha Central Mosque today. 
The Religion Leader called on political, traditional and religion leaders to speak to their people to ensure a hitch free local government elections just as he called on the security agencies and other segments of the society who have role to play on the success of the election should do the needful. 

While calling on the citizens not to allow the election cause any disunity in the society the Cleric warned people not to engage themselves on demonic and sinful acts to avoid the anger of God.

The Friday prayer in Umaisha had in attendance the first class traditional ruler of the area Ohimege Opanda HRH Alh Usman Abdullahi and the former Speaker of Nasarawa State House of Assembly Alh Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi who all spoke on the significant of peace and unity in the society for development to thrive.
