In a gesture aimed at bolstering the operational capacity of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) Lafia, the Special Assistant to the Governor on Media, Office of the First Lady, Lamino Ishaq Gambo, donated a generator to the station.
The official presentation took place on Monday at the station’s premises in Tudun Amba, Lafia.
During the handover, Lamino Ishaq explained that the donation fulfills his earlier commitment to address the power needs of the NTA Lafia studio.
"I visited NTA as a guest and noticed the studio was uncomfortably hot due to insufficient power to run the air conditioning.
This donation aims to enable reliable power for the AC and other essential equipment," he remarked.
Further emphasizing his commitment to media development, Ishaq pledged ongoing support to NTA Lafia to help the station continue its mission of informing, educating, and enlightening the public.
In response, the General Manager of NTA Lafia, Hajiya Rahmatu Salaudeen, expressed appreciation for the donation and praised Ishaq for his continued support, including the provision of new studio seating and other forms of assistance.
She affirmed the station’s commitment to fostering collaboration and enhancing service delivery in line with its mandate.
