In its desire and determination to achieve spread Islamic and Western Education as well as Qur,’anic Memorisation through establishment of Model Qur’anic Schools, the Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi Foundation, Launched the newly constructed Mu’assasa Model Qur’anic.Nursery and Primary School in Bauchi.
The Model School was officially commissioned by the Bauchi state Commissioner of Education, Dr. Jamila Mohammed Dahiru, who expressed gratitude to Allah for the life of Maulana Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi and for keeping him so long to continue with his unmeasurable contributions towards development of Education across Bauchi State and Nigeria as a whole.
Dr. Jamila therefore commended the foundation for its commitment and efforts in education which is a key and back bone of development of any reasonable administration.
Represented by a director in the Ministry, Hajiya Aishat Aminu, encouraged the foundation to ensure that the standard and objectives of establishing the facility is not compromised to achieve the dreams of Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi.
Dr. Jamila reiterated the commitment of the state government to partner with the foundation as the idea is in line with “my Bauchi Project” of Governor Bala Mohammed targeted to invest much more on education in the interest of purposeful future to get ride of much criminal activities in the state.
On behalf of the state government , the Commissiner congratulated the Foundation for the successful take off of the facility and the pioneer Pupils for being lucky as first beneficiaries, promising to support Foundation for sustainability of the Model School.
She reiterated the commitment of the state government to prioritise education., saying integrating Islamic studies into modern education would foster a well-rounded understanding.
She than called for collaborative efforts to address social issues and promote collective growth in the state.
Earlier in his speech, the Director Education of the Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi Foundation, Sidi Aliyu Sise Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi, appreciated Bauchi State government for its concern towards development of Youths in the state and particularly assisting the foundation to achieve its objectives towards development of Youths in Qur ‘anic Memorisation and Morden education.
Aliyu Sise commended Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi for establishing the foundation since 2007, which as at today has twelve directorates.
He explained that the aims and objectives of establishing the foundation among others is to spread Islamic and Western Education in Schools, spreading of Religion by way of organizing, Preachings, building of Mosques and other Islamic Centers, Societal Re-orientation and Human Rehabilitation through adequate and genuine Islamic Knowledge as well as promoting peace and tranquility among Muslims and Provision of Humanitarian services and assisting the less privileged in the society in all spheres of life.
Aliyu Sise while calling on collaborators to invest heavily in this direction, expressed regret that the Almajiri Schools system established by former president of Nigeria, GoodLuck Jonathan to encourage and promote both Islamic and Western Education among the Almajiris to discourage street begging by Youths has been deliberately destroyed by enemies of progress.
