The only female lawmaker in Nasarawa State House of Assembly Hon. Hajarat Danyaro Ibrahim has commenced the drilling of boreholes across the seven electoral wards in her constituency, Nasarawa Central.
Hon. Danyaro APC and Chairman House Committee on Women Affairs kick started the project with the commencement of drilling on Two boreholes at Zakun Bello Town in Laminga electoral ward of her constituency.
The initiative tagged "Tafisu Rural Water Project" was aimed at addressing the water challenges among her people as well as improve on their hygiene and general health well-being.
According to her, the initiative which is a pet project of her second year in office has the first phase commencing in Laminga ward while the next beneficiaries will be in Ara one electoral ward and it will gradually cut across the seven electoral wards in her constituency.
Hon. Hajarat Danyaro Ibrahim re-affirmed her commitment to the service of her constituents noting that she is determine in fulfilling her campaign promises to the people and ensure that they get the much needed dividends of democracy.
While calling for patience, support and more understanding from her people, the only female lawmaker in Nasarawa State drummed support for the present administration of Governor Abdullahi Sule to enable him succeed.
